Nesika Learns about Pow Wow

Nesika students were recently invited to the Thomas-Dueck Pow Wow next door at Columneetza School. In the week leading up, Language and Culture teachers Ms. Murphy and Mrs. Jack taught students about the traditions, etiquettes, and cultural significance of pow wow dancing and gatherings. Thank you for giving our students safe space to be curious and inquisitive! Great teaching and learning for all.
