About Us

Marie Sharpe Elementary School enrolls over 200 students from Kindergarten to Grade 6 and is located in the downtown core of Williams Lake. Our school is within easy walking distance to Sam Ketchum Memorial Complex for swimming and skating excursions and to the Williams Lake Library and Museum. We are also fortunate to be located within walking distance to the Williams Lake River Valley walking trail system.

At Marie Sharpe, we provide opportunities for students to be fully engaged and excited about their learning. We believe by providing students with opportunities to work with their hands through Experiential Learning Initiatives they will learn real life problem solving skills or create imaginative and creative projects to extend learning experiences. Projects may occur outside the school walls, while others will involve bringing community members into the school.

Marie Sharpe has a long standing commitment to developing strong, positive and respectful relationships with students and parents.
